Album : Voicenotes [13 Charlie Puth Ringtones • 44 MINUTES • MAY 11 2018]

Charlie Puth’s second studio album is titled Voicenotes. The album, which Puth produced almost all of, was released on May 11, 2018, by Artist Partner Group and Atlantic Records. “Attention” and “How Long” are two of the album’s five released singles. On the Billboard Hot 100, “How Long” peaked at number twenty-one and “Attention” at number five. Puth postponed the album’s release from early 2018 to “perfect” it, which involved reshooting the cover. On social media, he declared that the album cover and the track “The Way I Am” would be made available on May 3. In July and August of 2018, Puth set out on the Voicenotes Tour in North America to promote the album. Critics praised the album’s mature songwriting and Puth’s performance, noting that it was better than her debut album Nine Track Mind. The album was commercially successful upon release, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200. The album was nominated for a 61st Annual Grammy Awards Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.

Album : Nine Track Mind (Deluxe Edition) [15 Charlie Puth Ringtones • 52 MINUTES • JAN 29 2016]

Charlie Puth’s first studio album is titled Nine Track Mind. Originally slated for release on November 6, 2015, Artist Partner Group and Atlantic Records finally released it on January 29, 2016. The lead single from the album, “Marvin Gaye,” featuring Meghan Trainor, was first made available as the only single from Some Type of Love on February 10, 2015. It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in a number of other countries, including France, Ireland, New Zealand, and the UK. Released on August 20, 2015, “One Call Away,” the album’s second single, peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. With Selena Gomez, Puth’s third single “We Don’t Talk Anymore” was released on May 24, 2016, and it peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. On November 2, 2016, the music video for “Dangerously” was made available. Nine Track Mind was a commercial hit when it was first released, debuting and reaching its highest position on the Billboard 200 with 65,000 units. Critics panned the album for its blatant love ballad focus, oversimplified production, and vocal performance by Selena Puth. Puth has acknowledged that he wasn’t happy with the album’s final product.

Born in the United States on December 2, 1991, Charles Otto Puth Jr. is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. His first public recognition resulted from his YouTube song covers going viral. After making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011, Puth signed with eleveneleven, a record label that also provided songwriting and production services for other artists.

After a while, Puth joined Artist Partner Group and Atlantic Records, releasing his first single, “Marvin Gaye,” which featured Meghan Trainor, in 2015. Subsequently, that year, he was featured on Wiz Khalifa’s single “See You Again,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for twelve weeks in a row. The song also earned him three nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year, and a diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

2016 saw the release of Puth’s first studio album, Nine Track Mind, to a generally unfavorable critical and commercial reception. The album peaked at number 10 in both the US and the UK. “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” featuring Selena Gomez, was the third single off the album and peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. Voicenotes (2018), his second album, had comparable commercial success and a marginally better critical reception. The album produced the Hot 100 top-five single “Attention” and was nominated for a 61st Annual Grammy Awards Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. The song “Stay” by Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi, which Puth co-wrote and produced in 2021, became his first non-performing production to peak the Billboard Hot 100 and enjoy additional success abroad. Charlie, Puth’s third studio album, was made available in 2022. The hits “Light Switch” and “Left and Right” (with Jungkook) preceded it; both songs peaked at number thirty on the Hot 100.
